Job Description

Our client, a logistics and distribution operations team, is seeking a Part-time Office Assistant to join their team. As a Office Assistant, you will be part of the operations support group, helping keep delivery routing and order processing running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and comfort working with computer systems and spreadsheets—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Office Assistant- Part-Time Evenings

Location: New Windsor, NY

Pay Range: $18.00/hr

Shift: Evenings (Part Time)- 5pm-11pm- 3 Days/wk- Sunday, Thursday and Friday

What's the Job?

• Enter orders into a customized system to support accurate processing and routing.
• Input delivery picking slips into the computer system that corresponds with each delivery route.
• Print tickets and labels for boxes to ensure shipments are correctly prepared.
• Enter invoices and support documentation needed for delivery operations.
• Route trucks for deliveries by updating the required information in the system.

What's Needed?

• Comfort using Excel and plugging information into template spreadsheets.
• Ability to learn and use a customized order/routing system during training.
• Strong attention to detail to reduce errors in orders, labels, and routing information.
• Reliable availability for Sunday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, with flexibility to switch days if emergencies require it.
• Professional, calm communication and a dependable approach to completing tasks on time.
